Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for Service Manager at our Tulsa location. Our applicants must exhibit strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. Must be able to manage service operations within the dealership to maximize return on investment by optimizing Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Must have the skill set to grow profitable service labor sales and exercises disciplined expense control. Must be able to attract, retain, and effectively engage department personnel.

Job Essential Duties:

  • Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Promotes, adheres to and enforces company policy at all times with emphasis on a team mentality.
  • Promotes customer service at all times throughout the organization.
  • Develops and executes the Service Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals.
  • Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.
  • Ensures that all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims are submitted within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit.
  • Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge.
  • Provides technical support where applicable.
  • Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
  • Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position.
  • Executes other duties as assigned by management.

 
Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Service Department operations.
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Pass a background check, drug test and physical.
